How do we create good jobs in Canada?That's the main question for the first ever Good Jobs Summit, being hosted this weekend by Unifor (and in partnership with Ryerson University, the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and the Canadian Federation of Students).Here's the run down of the day's events:Starting at 9:30 a.m. we'll being with the Good Jobs Discussion which will take on a student perspective, followed by the event's keynote speech by civil rights activist, Van Jones.In the afternoon, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne will speak.Afterwards, The Ryersonian will be covering four workshops on topics like "Unemployed Under 30" and "Just Graduated."
