Has it been working in Quebec?
mulcair has to be careful
homeownership is very high right now as a %
people are affording homes
Who do you think is giving a stronger performance so far Trudeau or Mulcair?
pretty even - trudeau is making better points - mulcair is a better speaker
they have also kept interest rates incredibly low to facilitate the affording of mortgages
but i agree costs are rising
now that's interesting - rich kids are not as important as poor kids?
It's all well and good to give breaks to families, but how can they help working single who can't afford to have families?
mulcair is full of it here - he's going to raise the minimum wage - which penalizes the people who hire labour
he keeps saying he's going to help
raising the minimum wage will absolutely reduce the demand for labour
so less people will learn more
Paul Krugman says modest increases have little effect though... is $15 just too high?
i don't disagree with raising the minimum wage - i'm just saying that it's going to reduce the number of people with jobs
but 11 to 15 is not small
trudeau is right on that one
mulcair will be hard on jobs
you can't rip up the wealthiest canadians and assume it won't make a difference
it's popular to attack the wealthy
but you have to be careful who you piss off
Good point Kira. Let's see what she's saying.
i'm trying to keep track of this fast paced event
There's something ballsy. Thoughts?
i guarantee my daughter is perfect
Guaranteed by the government I suppose. Expensive... but as technology puts more people out of work but still spreads prosperity, might become a necessity???
